Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. The Rev. Jean Sanders, pastor of Louisiana Memorial United Methodist Church, will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Talbot was a native and lifelong resident of Opelousas. She was a member of Louisiana United Memorial Methodist Church in Opelousas. She dedicated her life to honoring and glorifying God and His church. For years on end she fulfilled that service by suppling and arranging the beautiful altar flowers every Sunday and filling the church with her angelic voice. She was on the Worship Committee, Bazaar Committee and worked with Young at Heart for many years.
In her spare time Mrs. Talbot loved being outside in her yard tending to her “Garden of Gethsemane”, as she called it. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their many activities. Her memory and service that she gave will stay in the hearts of those who loved her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her many friends, especially Mrs. Nela Badeaux, for their continued love and support to the end of her earthly journey.
Survivors include one son, Richard M. Talbot of Reno, NV; one daughter, Tammy Gremillion and husband, Johnny, of Port Allen; three grandchildren, Lorrie Gremillion LeDoux of Opelousas, Jonathon Gremillion and Matthew Gremillion, both of Port Allen; and three great- grandchildren, Aaron LeDoux, Katelyn LeDoux and Avery Talbot Gremillion.
