Norma Jean "Mommaw" Clark Delph, age 88, of Daniels, entered into Heaven on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

Born on December 31, 1927 in Beaver, she was the daughter of the late Rachel Irene Wood White.

Mrs. Delph at the age of 69 retired from the Raleigh County Board of Education, where she enjoyed very much working with handicapped children. Mrs. Delph was of the Primitive Baptist faith. She was a mother and Mommaw to many other than the family, and was loved by everyone. We love you mom and we all will see you again!

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Delph, a daughter Ruth Ann Daniel, and a son Bobby Delph.

Those left to cherish her precious memories include her daughters, Judy Prince and her husband Rob, Sue Cochran and her husband Ed, and Deb Smith and her husband Mason, all of Daniels.

Grandchildren, Michelle Spruill and her husband Mark of Morgantown, Jamie Delph of Crab Orchard, Paul Prince of Daniels, Mike Cochran and his wife Sonny Jo of Scott Depot, and Jaclyn Smith of Daniels. Great grandchildren Madeline and Mark Spruill, and a special nephew, Eddie Clark of Beckley.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3 p.m., with Pastor Luke Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at the Blue Jay Cemetery at Beaver.

Friends may visit with the family from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mark Spruill, Eddie Clark, Charlie Ellison, and Kenny McMillion.
