Bobby Delph

Robert Dale "Bobby" Delph, 47, of Beaver, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at his home following a short illness.

Born Nov. 4, 1952, in Beaver, he was the son of Norma Jean Clark Delph of Beaver and the late Jack Delph.

Mr. Delph was a general laborer and a lifelong Beaver resident. He attended Beaver Baptist Church.

Other survivors include a son, Jamie Dale Delph of Crab Orchard; four sisters, Ruth Ann Daniel of Beaver, Judy Prince and her husband, Rob, of Daniels, Sue Cochran and her husband, Eddie, of Daniels and "Deb" Smith and her husband, Mason, of Daniels; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 230 p.m. Thursday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley, with the Rev. Ronald George officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Jay Cemetery.

Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Rob Prince, Eddie Cochran, Mason Smith, Jerry Gunnoe, Eddie Clark, Talmadge Daniel and Paul Prince.
