AGAWAM, HAMPDEN Co., MA - Mrs. Dorothy R. (Randall) Baumann, ( 88y ) d: July 13, 2013 - entered into eternal rest on Saturday. Born in Pittsfield, daughter of the late Louis and Pearl (Raper) Randall, she grew up in Illinois and was a graduate of Steinmetz High School in Illinois. She lived in Springfield and was a former member of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Women's Club before moving to Agawam in 2003. Dorothy was a graduate of American International College and worked as a teacher for the Massachusetts Development and Training Institute. Her husband, Francis E. Baumann died in 1997. She leaves two sons, Frank E. Baumann and his wife, Susan of Agawam, Dr. Louis R. Baumann and his partner, Tammy Bolender of Elma, NY, two grandsons, Ryan F. Baumann and Todd J. Baumann and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the staff at Country Estates for the compassionate care shown to our mother over the last eight years of her stay there.
