MR. T. MEGAW.
After a long period of ill-health, Mr Thomas Megaw died yesterday at the residence of his sister, Mrs. P. Maher, Clare-street, aged 60. He was born at Hughenden and was a miner and prospector for many years on the Tate tinfields. He was a single man, but his three sisters are living in Cairns-Mesdames S. Still, F. Maher and M. Kirkpatrick. The largely-attended funeral moved from the residence yesterday afternoon, and Rev. Whitney officiated.
