THOMAS HARVEY PASSES AWAY.
Mr. Thomas Harvey died at the home of his sister, Mrs. S.H. Bigham, No. 641 Twentieth street, at 8 o'clock last night. Although his health had not been good recently, his death was the result of a stroke of paralysis, which he suffered at 4 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Harvey was born September 3, 1832, and had been an active and efficient member of the Columbus police force for the past eleven years and was held in high esteem by the members of that department. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Bigham, and is brother, Patrolman Charles H. Harvey, of the police force, one aunt, Miss Annie Geeslin, besides several nieces and nephews; and his step-mother, Mrs. B.G. Harvey. The funeral took place from the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. J.W. Lilly and the interment was in Riverdale Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: F.T. Snell, N.F. Tucker, C.L. Wood, F.C. Tibbs and J.R. Cornett.
