Dear father of David (Anita) Bond, Jeff (Anne) Bond, Timothy Bond, Eric Bond, Anita (Don) Romzek-Bond, Kimberly (Dan) Zernec, Melody (Ken) Klemmer, and the late Lawrence Jones. Grandfather of Christina, Andrew, Jeremy, Kyle, John David, Melissa, Dustin, Zachary, Raymond, Leon, Sinead, and Sirena. Great Grandfather of Allan, Sarah, Drake, Finn, and Calvin. Brother of William Roberts, Paul (Carolyn) Bond. Predeceased by 8 siblings. Bob retired from Ford Motor Company in 1995 after 42 ½ years of employment. He loved working in the yard and with the flowers (well maybe love is a strong word – maybe he had to because his wife was afraid of snakes and wouldn’t.) His real love was fishing and hunting all his life, and in his later years, he went to Alaska with Dan, Dustin, and Zak for salmon – oh the stories. He will be missed by all of us, but the angels rejoice and he is with other loved ones. Funeral service Saturday, February 6, 2016, 11 a.m. at the Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Rd., Orion. The family will receive friends Friday 2-8 p.m. Interment Aaron Webster Cemetery, Auburn Hills.
