ERNEST HOWARD BANKS, 64, of 1869 Ferber, died Saturday at Germantown Community Hospital-Methodist East after a long illness. Services will be at noon Thursday at Mt. Olive CME Cathedral, where he was a steward, with burial in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery. N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. He was a worshipful master of the Metropolitan Masonic Lodge No. 161 and a 32nd degree Mason. Banks, the husband of Mary Banks, also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Verner Echols of Chicago, Mrs. Mary Bullard of St. Louis, and Mrs. Robbie Cooper of Memphis, and three brothers, Booker T.
