Mabel G. (Radcliffe) Dowty, 72, of 463 London St., formerly 53B Hillside Manor, died Wednesday.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Radcliffe and the late Bertha A. (Scholes) Radcliffe.

Mrs. Dowty had been employed for more than 20 yaers as a nutrition's assistant at Bristol County Co-operative Extension, Dighton, MA.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Johnson of Pasadena, MD., and Pamela Brooks of Charleston, SC; a son Richard Radcliffe of Alaska; two brothers, Russell Radcliffe of Wheat Ridge, CO., and Robert Wilson of Enfield, CT; a sister Geraldine Goad of Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are with the "Cherry Place" Home of Waring-Ashton & Couglin, D.D. Sullivan-Driscoll, 178 Winter Street.
