George Green, 77, died March 21, 1989, at Elliott White Springs Memorial Hospital. Funeral is at St. Paul AME Church, with the Rev. N.A. Johnson and the Rev. Preston Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Lancaster Memorial Park. McCray Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Green, a native of Clarendon County, was the son of the late Pinkney and Susie Green. He was a retired foundry worker in New York. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul AME Church.
Survivors are sisters, Mrs. Viola Jones of Heath Springs, Mrs. Ruth Hart of Mayewood, Ill., Miss Nathalia Green; brothers, Pinkney Green Jr. and Charlie Green, both of Baltimore, John Green.
