John Maynor
June 19, 1948 - February 1, 2016

John Maynor was born on June 19, 1948 in Springfield, Ga.

He was a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida for 50 years. He attended Lincoln Park Academy and was named an Original Florida Highwaymen. He was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He also visited Neighborhood Bibleway Revival Center under the leadership of Pastor Walter Barron.

John Maynor began his transition from this life to be with the Lord on Feb 1, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Gussie Maynor and Father: Eugen Maynor, brothers: Edward (Hully Gully) Maynor, sisters: Ruby & Ruth Ann Maynor and Delores Campbell.

Left to cherish his memory Sons: John Maynor, Jr., Cedric and Edward Maynor all of Ft. Pierce, Florida; brothers: Jerome (Wilhelmina) Maynor and Ronald Maynor both of Syracuse, New York; Sisters: Margaret (Clifford) Wheeler, Dorothy Williams, Marilyn Green, Bernice Maynor, Vicki Maynor and Sandra Maynor; His favorite niece: Dominique (Anthony) Prince and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services: Visitation will held on Friday, Feb 12, 2016,3pm-7pm and Saturday, 9am-11am, Feb 13, 2016 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, Feb 13, 2016, 1pm at Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

A burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
