Anna (Huff) Ballentine was born on January 10, 1886 in Giles County, Tennessee, the daughter of Daniel "Dan" Huff (ca May 1848-ca 1915) and Edith "Eddie" (Kennedy) Huff (ca 1858-1928). [Dan and Edy were married on August 29, 1872 in Giles County.]
Anna was married on April 19, 1902 in Giles County to William Butler Ballentine (1875-1952), the son of Aaron Ballentine and Margarete (Baugh) Balentine.
Living in Giles County, Civil District 14, she was 29 years old when she died of pulmonary TB on January 5, 1916. Burial was the next day in Kellums Gap Cemetery.
