Alma Smith, daughter of G.G. and Sarah Smith, was born in Stafford County June 12, 1886. She was married to A.D. Jones and to this union were born six children, all of whom are living - Ammon, Edward, Lola, Ruth, Charlie, and Marie.

About 6 years ago they moved to this country [sic] where she lived until her death, last Tuesday. Everything was done to save her life but it was the will of Divine Providence to leave her here.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 25, at the Baptist Church at 2:30, and interment made at the Liberal Cemetery.

The heartbroken family has the heartfelt sympathy of all their friends.
