Mrs. Ballard was preceded in death by her half brother, Russell Edward "Butch" Simms, Jr of Tampa, Fl., and Maternal Grandparents Joshua Albert and Sanna Garland Crisp also of Tampa, Fl., and one uncle, Earl Crisp of Sycamore, OH.
She is survived by her husband Wayne and sons Terry and James of Altamonte Springs, Fl., son David of K.I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan as well as her Mother and Step Father, Hazel and Russell Simms of Maggie Valley NC, Mother and Father-in-Law, Nina and Arthur Ballard of Plant City, Fl., one aunt Pearl C. Poindexter of Tampa, Fl and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ballard was a graduate of Hillsborough High School in Tampa and worked as a secretary at Plant City Steel prior to her marriage. Following her wedding, Mrs. Ballard was a devoted mother and homemaker who lovingly cared for her children and home and raised her sons to be kind and caring individuals. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
