Clyde M. “Odey” Maston, Sr., 81, of St. Marys, WV, passed away, February 16, 2016, at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV. He was born, September 4, 1934, in Pleasants County, WV, a son of the late Harve and Mary Crooks Maston. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving from 1953 to 1957, and a member of Laborers Union Local 1085.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Smith Maston, children, Mary Lisa (Hob) Harris of Sparta, NJ, Tammy Denise (John) Powell and Darla M. (Randy) Hammons all of St. Marys, WV, and Clyde M. (Violet) Maston, Jr. of Ripley, WV, grandchildren, Marisa (Geoff) Roman, Zachary T. Harris, Josiah Powell, Charles Powell, Alex Powell, Faythe Maston, Ben Smith, Sarah Smith, great grandson, Fisher Roman, sisters, Zora Straight of St. Marys, WV, Ola Pinkerton of Parkersburg, WV, Louella Smith of Newport, OH, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Eileen Steele, Pearl Malone, Ora Marshall, Myrtle Greathouse, Alicetene Brothers, Georgie Hendrickson, Edna Farson, Maxine Kelley, and brothers, Carl Edward and Ralph Maston.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 19, 2016, at 3 P. M. at the Willow Island Cemetery, Willow Island, WV, with Pastor Mark Mayfield officiating and military rites to follow. There will not be any calling hours.
