When Herbert Francis Boyle was born on June 5, 1907, in Braceville, Illinois, his father, William, was 26 and his mother, Mary, was 18. He married Irene Emily McCormack on August 11, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois. He had three children, Irene George and a Baby that passed away, Patricia, by the time he was 27. Herb was a Truck driver by trade, hauling milk for The Willett Company as well as Wanzer Dairy. He was also an excellent baseball player (pitcher) who had the opportunity to play for the Chicago White Sox. For many years Herb and his wife had a summer home on Wonder Lake, Illinois.
Herb and his wife Irene spent considerable time traveling between Chicago and Englewood Florida during the 1970's. During the 1980's he resided on Scott Lake, near Bangor Michigan.
He died on January 23, 1996, in Oak Forest, Illinois, at the age of 88.
