Obituary from Sioux City Journal, Sunday, May 4, 1980 ed.: Mrs. Isaac Geary, 97, Countryside Retirement Home, 6120 Morningside Ave., died Thursday at the retirement home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry E. Oakland, pastor of Riverside United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Nelson-Berger Northside Funeral Home. Mrs. Geary, the former Osha Sedalia Shaller, was born Sept. 26, 1882 in Sedalia, Mo. She was married to Mr. Geary in 1903 at Anthon, Iowa. He died in Sioux City. She was employed as a seamstress by Davidson Bros. Department Store and later by Younkers Department Store. Mrs. Geary was a member of Riverside Methodist Church. Survivors include two granddaughters, Mrs. Beverly Cita of Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Mrs. Calvin (Lucille) Plumhof of Kentfield, Calif, and 10 great-grandchildren.
