Orene was the daughter of Joseph Jackson Presswood and Sallie Ann Burger, the youngest of seven children: Ella, Onivee, Lois, twins, Ezra and Eslie, Ithiel and Orene. She was said to have been a very active young lady who loved to roller skate, square dance and ride bikes. She also loved to embroidery, and was good at it.
She married first William 'Billy' Victor Weaver 22 March 1941. Billy was in the Army during WW II and lost his life in maneuvers at his base in Florida. Billy and Orene had a daughter, Linda who married Donald Lee Fugate.
Orene married 2nd to Lannance Coe at the home of Rev. J. C. Glen. She and Lannance were parents of a son, Lannance Jr. 'Lanny'. They were said to have been great fans of Blue Grass music and loved to entertain musicians in their home, and traveled all over the South to Blue Grass competitions.
