Alan “Jeff” Anderson, 63, of Watseka and formerly of Milford passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born April 27, 1952 in Lafayette, IN, the son of Carl Robert and Ema Jean Ford Anderson. He married Laura Leppard on the Anderson Farm in Milford on June 13, 1980 and she survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Peggy (William) Shoufler of Milford and Lori (Robert) Curtis of Milford; four sister in laws, Cindy (Jerry) Baker of Hoopeston, Lorie (Billy) Taylor of Milford, Sheila Jeffers (Travis Milton) of Milford, and Connie Leppard (Keith Martin) of Milford; two dogs, Bear and Bella; thirteen nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother in law, Steven Leppard.
Jeff enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR, and was a member of ABATE. He loved helping the farmers during the fall and worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He was currently employed by UPS.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Robert Sabo will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Milford.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Milford.
