A tragedy, the second within eight
days in which the life of another little
Biron boy was taken, occurred at Bir-
on Sunday morning, shortly after
nine-thirty o'clock, when Archie
Holmes, seven year old son of Edgar
Holmes, an employe at the Biron mill,
was drowned while playing with a
stick with which he was attempting
to measure the depth of the water, at
the edge of the Wisconsin river, just
above the Consolidated dyke....
Funeral services were held this af-
ternoon at 1:30 from the home and
burial took place at Forest Hill ceme-
tery, Rev. C. A. Meilicke officiating.
