She was born March 2, 1936, in Salt Lake City, UT to Charles & Dorothy Cayias. She married Jack Reid on March 6, 1965.
She loved reading, especially murder mysteries, playing blackjack, crosswords raising afghan hounds, making dog shawls and watching the Utah Jazz.
She is survived by daughters: Val Argyle, Debbie (Dave) Peterson and Kim Thomas. Granddaughters: Danielle Tillett, Melissa (Cory) Neilson, Andrea Duffin and Samantha (Sean) Harris. Greatgrandchildren: Jackson, Blake, Brecklyn, Gage, Taytum and Kadence, and many friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her parents, sisters: Phyllis Deneris, Marion Cherry and son-in-law, Rick Argyle.
Funeral services will held on March 3, 2016 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 11:00 am, 279 South 300 West in Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at Memorial Deseret Mortuary, with a prayer service at 7 pm. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
