John Lashley
Lashley, one of Kentucky's famous Lashley quadruplets, died Saturday in Louisville, Ky., while awaiting a heart transplant. He was 50. The quadruplets, born Feb. 23, 1941, instantly became media darlings.

John Lashley, 50, Jeffersonville, Ind., formerly of Louisville, died Saturday at Jewish Hospital.
He was a native of Leitchfield and a self-employed heavy equipment mechanic.
Survivors: a son, John Thomas Lashley of Jeffersonville; a brother, Charles Thomas Lashley of Leitchfield; and eight sisters, Ruth Hancock of Shepherdsville, Beulah Mills of Vine Grove, Fannie Mae Simon of Bowling Green, Ilean Hawkins of Orlando, Fla.; Virginia Wiche of Finchville, Mildred Maeser, Martine Bean and Mary Elizabeth Schureck.
Funeral: noon Monday, St. Gabriel Archangel Catholic Church, 8409 Hudson Lane. Burial: Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: Ratterman’s Bardstown Road, 3800 Bardstown Road, 3-9 p.m. Sunday.
