Son of Henry Alvin and Laura Cantrell Young, born January 15, 1943 in Elizabeth, Arkansas. He was the youngest of 14 children. He died February 17, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Bobby was married Aug 2, 1969 in Kansas City, Missouri to Betty Wilson. He retired from Beechcraft in Wichita, Kansas. He moved to Tightwad, Mo and then to Warsaw, Mo for most of his remaining years.

He is survived by son Michael Young and wife Tammy and their children Michael Jr, Bobby and Stephanie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 stepsons, Danny Catlett and wife Clydette of Indiana; Bill Catlett and wife Virginia and Darrell Catlett and wife Jan of Livingston, Texas; stepdaughter Kathy Catlett Riley and husband Gene of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Also grandchildren Debbie, Deanna, Dylan, Angel, Willy, Amy, Joshua, Elizabeth and Christy Catlett; Tiny and Billy Long and Ursula Ready.
Also survived by four brothers, Cecil Young of Kansas City, KS; Odell Young of Bainbridge,Washington; Billy Young and wife Audry of Gepp, AR; Donald Young and wife Sue of Flower Mound, TX; one sister, Winifred Young Krug and husband Carl of Mountain Home, AR and sister-in-law Beatrice Young of Mountain Home, AR and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Elmo, Gaylon and GW ; five sisters, Thelma Mahan, Eunice Martin, Irene Mesiano, Bea Cole and Arcille Cosia; five brothers-in-law, Chauncey Mahan, Loyd Martin, John Mesiano, John Cole and Al Coscia; also one sister-in-law Norma Jean Young.
