Winifred "Sally" Young Dockins Krug, 93, of Mountain Home Arkansas, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, in Mountain Home. She was born June 1, 1928 in Elizabeth, Arkansas, to Henry Alvin and Laura (Cantrell) Young along with thirteen other siblings. She retired from Beech Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas, after many years of service.
Sally married Amel Franklin Dockins on November 29, 1945, in Dolph, Arkansas, and from this marriage were three children: Loretta Faye Dockins, Amel Royce Dockins, and Anita Arlene Dockins. They were married for 25 years then divorced. On August 28, 1971, she married Carl A. Krug in Wichita, Kansas. Three more children: Carl Krug, Jr., Cathy Kurg Gannon, and Teresa Krug Hayden joined the family with this marriage. Carl and Sally celebrated 50 years of marriage this past August. They moved to Mountain Home in 1995 and have lived there ever since.
Sally is survived by her husband; three daughters: Faye Dockins Harris of Gassville, Arkansas, Cathy Krug Gannon (Donnie) of El Reno, Oklahoma, and Teresa Hayden of San Diego, California; son: Royce Dockins (Marilyn) of Udall, Kansas; brother: Don Young (Sue) of Flower Mound, Texas; eight grandchildren: Darren Harris (Frances) of Rea Valley, Arkansas, Johnny Harris ( Karen) of Rea Valley, Arkansas, Julie Stroup of Lakeview, Arkansas, Kristy Dockins Neal (Donnie) of Arkansas City, Kansas, Devin Dockins of Udall, Derek Dockins (Ginger) of Mulvane, Kansas, D. J. Gannon (Kayla) of Oklahoma, and Daniel Gannon of Oklahoma, as well as many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son-in-law: Charles Harris; daughter: Anita Arlene Dockins; son: Carl Krug, Jr.; grandson: Danon Dockins; seven brothers: Elmo Young, Cecil Young (Norma Jean), G. W. Young (Bea), Billy Young (Audrey), Odell Young, Gaylon Young, Bobby Young (Betty) and five sisters: Thelma Mahan (Chauncey), Eunice Martin (Loyd), Beatrice Cole (John), Irene Mesiano (John) and Betty Arcille Coscia (Al).
Visitation will be held between 4 - 6 pm on Sunday, November 21, at Roller Funeral Home. A graveside service (weather permitting) will be held at Baxter Memorial Gardens at 2 pm Monday, November 22, 2021.∼Married Amel Dockins Nov 24, 1945
