Addison Boldon, 86, of Centreville, died Saturday night in a Boise hospital.
He was born in Vernon County, Wis., on Jan. 15, 1878. He farmed in Linslaw, Ore., for several years. He also sold life insurance.
He had lived in Centerville for the past 26 years and was employed there as a caretaker for a dredging company.
He served in the Spanish- American War in the same Company as his father, an uncle, and two cousins.
He married Josie M. Stillman in 1938 in Idaho City, Idaho.
A member of the Christian church, Mr. Boldon belonged to Gen. McConnville Camp No. 5, US Spanish War Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Josie of Centerville; and a sister, Mrs. Murel Knight of Berkley, Calif.
Pallbearrers will be Carl Koppes; Paul Frentress; Louis Truegar; Bill Leidl; Oscar Baunehoff; and John Esperance.
