To the late Alberto Gomez Jr. and survived by his mother Maria F. Gomez of Laredo, Tx. Survivors include his wife, Sonia Marie Gomez of Katy, Tx., son Luis Alberto Gomez of Laredo, Tx., granddaughters, Karla Bethany Guerrero, Renata Marie Gomez, Samantha Lee Gomez, Alberta Louise Gomez of Laredo, Tx., brothers, Adolfo Gomez and wife Selia of Pasadena,Tx., Belated Carlos Gomez of Laredo, Tx., Sisters, Carmen Gutierrez and husband Sergio of Mathis, Tx., Marta Tapia and husband Juan of Deer Park, Tx., Janie Gomez of Laredo, Tx., Elena Espinoza and husband Jessie of Seagraves, Tx., Aida Martinez and husband Antonio of Laredo, Tx., Ana Garza and husband Abel of Victoria, Tx., Rosa Navarro of Houston, Tx., Lydia Gonzales and husband Jose of Laredo, Tx., and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2006 in the Chapel at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 29, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Luis Alberto Gomez, Marcos Antonio Soto, Abel Garcia, Frankie Navarro, Christopher Gutierrez, Daniel Espinoza, Joey Gonzales and Jay Espinoza, and honorary pallbearer Adolfo Gomez.
