Fay Vontrice Denham

Funeral service for Fay Vontrice Denham, 43, of Eighty Eight, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock at the Beech Grove Baptist church, with Rev C. R. Carter in charge. Burial was in the Refuge cemetery at Eighty Eight.

Mr. Denham was born in Barren County October 10, 1905, the son of the late Curtis and Nannie Payne Denham. He was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist church. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Herman Shipley, of Temple Hill.

The 1920 and 1930 census lists that he was born in IL. The 1910 and 1940 census lists KY, his death certificate and his obituary lists Barren County, KY. His death certificate lists him as a Female, which is incorrect.
