Thirza Stiles was born to Daniel Olds Stiles and Abigail Farrington. She had three siblings: Farrington, John, and Abigail. She married Reynolds Cahoon the 11 December 1810 In New Port, Herkimer, New York. They had seven children: William Farrington, Lerona Eliza, Pulaski Stephen, Daniel Stiles, Andrew, Julia Amina, and Mahonri Moriancumer. Thirza was one of the women present when the Relief Society of the LDS Church was first organized. She died in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is buried there.
