Frank Couch, 91, of Carrollton, Ky., died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 13, 1913, in Manchester, Clay County, Ky., the son of Elijah and Sophia Sandlin Couch. He was a farmer and a retired self-employed coal truck driver. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Carrollton.

Surviving are three daughters, Rose Mary Jones of Carrollton, Reba Sharon of Worthville, Ky., and Linda King of Madison; two sons, Hayden Couch of Galveston, Texas, and Ricky Couch of Clarksville; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Ellen Bishop Couch, in 1972; one son, Conley Couch, in 1971; two sisters, Dorothy and Gertrude Couch; and seven brothers, Schafter, Shiloh, Garrett, Bill, Marion, Abe and Ed Couch.

Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Sunday at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, with burial in the English Cemetery in Carrollton.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT Sunday at the funeral home.
