Ted Adams, passed away Sept. 17, 1994 Survived by his wife, Pauline K. Adams of the family home, children, Toni (Robert) Labenberg, Teddi (Randy Morgan) Adams, both of Pueblo, Barbara (Will) Gray, Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Heather (John) Mill, Burley, Idaho, Angela Labenberg, Pueblo, Bobbi Adams, Pueblo, Jennifer (David) Light, San Antonio, Texas, JoAnn Labenberg and Bobby Labenberg, both of Colorado Springs; great-granddaughter, Barbara Ruth Light of San Antonio, Texas. Also survived by numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his father, Edgar A. Adams in 1935; stepfather, W.C. Sparkman in 1976, sister, Marcella Kalt in 1977 and his mother, Gladys Adams-Sparkman in 1987. Born Feb. 20, 1921, in Sperry, Okla., and was a long¬time Pueblo resident, retiring in 1982 from the plant protection division at the Cl-&I Steel Corporation. Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served in the Pacific Theater during World War II and was stationed in many areas including Guadalcanal, Saipan and Guam. Member of the Adawe Indian Tribe of Oklahoma, B.P.O. Elk Lodge No. 90, and the Eagles Lodge Aerie No. 145. At his request there will be no viewing or services. Cremation. Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. In lieu of food and flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 704 Elmhurst, Pueblo, Col., 81004, in his memory. The family would hike to give special thanks to the medical staff at Parkview Medical Center, the Sangre de Cristo Hospice. his physicians and nurses, especially to Dr. Dumont Clark. who all have been so helpful during his illness.
