Jim Abercrombie, 84, Buffalo, Missouri joined his heavenly Father June 29, 2013. He was born in Noel, MO on January 1, 1929.

He married Vita Johnson on May 8, 1948, in Goodman, MO. They recently celebrated their 65th anniversary. The couple was blessed with six children.

Jim founded three successful businesses. He was a water well contractor in Branson for sixteen years, farmed with dairy and beef cattle for 20 years, founded and retired from Buffalo Realty. Jim loved his family and eagerly shared his Christian faith with all he met.

He was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters, two brothers and one son-in-law. He is survived by his beloved wife Vita; three sons Keith (Terrie), Joe (Linda), Steve, and three daughters, Sheryl Lindsey, Becky Stokes (Lonnie), and Sandy Acker (Bob); 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, July 1st from 6-8 at Cantlon Otterness Funeral home, Buffalo. Funeral services are on Tuesday, July 2nd, at 10 am at New Hope Baptist Church, Buffalo.
