she was interviewed in 1974 and 1988 (Providence Journal), and told the reporter "... tales of sailing to America at age 12 on the Bolivia and working 60 hours a week for $2.70.
She told how her first husband died of a heart attack when she was 29 and how eight years later she took a cruise to Italy and met her second husband..."

Enrichetta Giolitti, 101, of Laurel Hill Avenue, died Wednesday at home.
She was the widow of Mario Giolitti.
Born in Caianello, Italy, a daughter of the late Antonio and Margherita (Piccerillo) Marcello, she came to this country in 1900 and settled in Providence. She had lived in Cranston most of her life.
She was a member of the Daughters of Italy and St. Bartholomew Glee Club, both of Providence.
She is survived by two sons*, a daughter, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
