1) Jacob [the youngest son of Jacob & Mary (Houghton) Farrar] married 1st to Grace Deane on 28 Nov 1640 Halifax and at some point after the baptism of their first and only child, Jacob, born 3 Sep 1641, Grace died. The record of her burial has not been found in the local registers.” Sue Farrar Thorne’s book Descendants of Jacob Farrar Jr and Hannah Hayward of Lancaster, Massachusetts to 1825 states “A bequest of L40 from Grace Deane’s guardian in England, her uncle Robert Birron of Barron, to the child Jacob provided the money [for Jacob] to purchase property in Lancaster.”
2) Jacob [youngest son of Jacob & Mary (Houghton) Farrar]was baptized on 14 Aug 1614 at Heptonstall Church, Halifax Parish, England. His brother John was the one baptized 28 Jul 1611. Jacob’s birth info should be correctly edited on the memorial. ]
