Curtis. She married Carl E. Bennett January 3, 1917 in Piatt County. He died
May 27, 1987. Surviving are three daughters: Doris Gilmore, Farmer City;
Elizabeth Bartlett, Mesa AZ; and Lorraine Green, Harvard; three brothers: Roger
Curtis, Farmer City; Carl Curtis, Las Cruces NM; a sister, Mabel Cook, Little
Rock ARK; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. One daughter, one
great-granddaughter, six brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of Weedman United Methodist Church and McLean County Home
Extension. She had been a 4-H leader for
several years. Memorials may be made
to her church or the nursing home.
