MABEL CURTIS KIRKPATRICK COOK, of North Little Rock, formerly of Malibu, Calif., died Saturday. She was a member of the Christian Science Church. She was born in Mansfield, Ill. on Jan. 2, 1900. She is survived by a daughter, Vivian Yedlick of North Little Rock; a son, Leon Kirkpatrick of Walla Walla, Wash.; two brothers, Richard Curtis of Las Vegas, Nev. and Carl Curtis of Las Cruces, N.M.; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mabel Cook and her husband, Joe, who died in 1963, moved to Malibu in 1950. An accomplished equestrian, she taught English horseback riding lessons for the next 40 years, retiring when she was 90. There wasn't anything she would rather do than be around horses.
