A life-long resident of Pottawattamie county, Bailey was a retired farmer and a member of the Pilgrim Holiness church.
He is survived by his widow, Leah; four daughters, Mrs. Lily Howerton of Noel, Mo., Mrs. Ella Clatterbuck and Mrs. Leah Pogge, both of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Josie Parker of Exeter, Mo.; five sons, Isaac F. Bailey of Council Bluffs, Clinton L. Bailey, Anchorage, Alaska, Harrison D. Bailey of Kansas City, Woodrow W. Bailey of National City, Calif., Walter H. Bailey, Panama Canal Zone; two brothers, Harvey Bailey of Folsom, and George F. Bailey of Council Bluffs; four sisters, Mrs. Josie B. Carr and Mrs. Minnie Foster, both of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Hazel Jacks of Los Angeles, Calif., and Miss Irene Bailey of New York City; and 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Cutler chapel at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn cemetery.
