"Mrs. Ella B. Clatterbuck, 48, died Monday [30 October 1961] at a Price Utah hospital of injuries suffered in a two-car crash near Price on 26 October. Her husband, Everett P. Clatterbuck, was killed in the same crash; he was buried 31 October in Council Bluffs. Their son, Norman, was injured in the crash and remains hospitalized; his wife, Elma, was injured but has been released from the hospital.
Mrs. Ella Clatterbuck was born in Langdon, Missouri, but had resided in Council Bluffs for 40 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church. Her survivors include two sons, Norman of Council Bluffs and Edwin of Seaside, California; her mother, Mrs. Leah Bailey of Council Bluffs; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Howerton and Mrs. Leah Pogge, both of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Josie Parker of Grandby, Missouri; and, five brothers, Frank Bailey of Council Bluffs, Woodrow Bailey of Portland, Oregon, Walter Bailey of Seattle, Washington, Lynn Bailey of Soldovia, Alaska, and Harrison Bailey of Kansas City, Missouri" .
