Mrs. Robert Howard, senr.
The death on Wednesday of Mrs Robert Howard senr. of Scott's Creek and recently of Cobden, will be regretted by a large circle of friends the deceased. The death occurred at the residence of her son, Mr. Howard. The late Mrs. Howard, who was 82 years of age, was born Wicklow, Ireland. Shortly after her arrival in Australia, Miss Margaret M i« was married in Camperdown to Mr. Robert Howard of Timboon, together have spent nearly the whole of their married life in or near Cobden.
Mrs. Howard has been ailing for some time, and her son took his parents from Cobden to Scott's Creek, where they could have the kind attention of his wife. Mrs. Howard leaves a ?* *i and two sons, Frank and Robert jnr., both of Scott's Creek, for whom much sympathy is expressed.
The remains of the deceased were laid to rest in the Cobden cemetery yesterday, Rev. G. T. officiating at the graveside.
