Dorothy was a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also lovingly known as “Pet” to her siblings and “Dot” to her co-workers at Midland Shirt Factory. She was quite witty and could entertain her family with her humor. She was an amazing seamstress, gardener, and cook. Her beautiful flowers and plants were her pride and joy. Her children and grandchildren were some of the best dressed kids around as were their dolls and barbies because of her gift of sewing. Her famous holiday dishes will be missed, including her Christmas candies, pralines, pecan pies, and turkey and dressing.

Dorothy Dean Killen Henley will be missed. She has a big heart, a sweet smile and loved Jesus. She is now smiling down on us now.
