Lucille “LuLu” Applestot, 71, of Keansburg, passed away on Saturday, January 30th, surrounded by her family at Laurel Bay Nursing Home, Keansburg. She was born and raised in Newark, prior to moving to Keansburg 45 years ago. Lucille was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Ann’s Church Keansburg. She will be remembered for her love of playing the pick it, Bingo and trips to Atlantic City. Lucille was predeceased by her parents Stephanie (Rozzo) and Joseph Siciliano and her brother Stephen Siciliano. Surviving is her son, Michael Applestot of Keansburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Ann Siciliano of Pt Monmouth and Nicholas and Phyllis Siciliano of Keansburg; a sister, Rae Steed of Middletown; many nieces, nephews, extended family and her beloved cat Bella. Family will be accepting friends on Wednesday from 5-9pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg. On Thursday there will be a 10:15am Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Keansburg, with burial immediately following at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
