Teckla Roskuski Dies at Hospital
Miss Teckla Roskuski, 79, passed away at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth hospital, following a major operation.
Born in Delphi March 4, 1873, she was a daughter of Charles and Josephine Roskuski. She was a member of St. Jospeh's church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
She leaves a sister, Mary Brady, Muncie and a brother, John Roskuski, Fort Wayne, nieces and nephews.
The body was brought to the Eikenberry funeral home where the Rosary Society will hold services at 8 p.m. tonight. She had spent her entire life in Delphi.
Funeral rites will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's church. Rev. Francis Kienly will officiate with burial in the St. Joseph's cemetery.

Church Included In Roskuski Will

The will of Teckla Roskuski has been probated in Carroll circuit court. She left
$1, 000 to St. Joseph's church in Delphi for the purchase of something for the church interior as a memorial to the Roskuski family.
Other bequests included $300 to the pastor of St. Joseph church for masses for herself and members of her family; $100 for perpetual care of the family lot in St. Joseph cemetery; $500 to the Poor Sisters of St. Francis for the purchase of special equipment at St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette; $100 to the Bishop of the Lafayette Diocese to be expended on the education of young men for the priesthood of the church; $100 to St. Anthony's home of Lafayette; $100 to the Little Sisters of the Poor of Indianapolis; $100 to the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America, Inc.; $100 TO Rev. John Pohlen an Oblate Father or his successor for the mission at Tekakwitha Rural Station, Sesseton, South Dakota.
Miss Roskuski left $200 to her brother, John Roskuski of Ft. Wayne and $200 to her sister, Mrs. Mary Brady of Muncie. She bequeathed $100 each to her nieces and nephews viz: Charles Roskuski, Lucy, Hildred, George and Robert Roskuski; Frances Roskuski, Mildred, Henry, Margaret Rambach, Agnes Collins, Theresa Thompson, Margaret Brady, Gene Roskuski and Edward Collins.
The remainder of her estate is to be divided share and share alike, between the nieces and nephews.
She named Mary Brady and Robert Roskuski as co-executors of the estate. The will was executed on December 2, 1948. Joseph T. Ives was a subscribing witness to the document.
