Services celebrating the life of Amanda Rudisill Methvin were held Friday, April 1, 2016, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, LaCamp, Reverend Sherman Busby and Reverend Joey Rudisill officiated.

Amanda Rudisill Methvin, 59, of LaCamp, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at her residence.

Amanda was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, LaCamp, who loved the Lord, her family and her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Onie Long Rudisill and a brother, Wayne Rudisill.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law; step-son; step-daughter; two brothers and sisters-in-ilaw; seven grandchildren; a host of other family members and friends.

The family has designated St. Jude Children's Research for memorial contributions, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN, 38101.

Services were under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
