FLOER, Wayburn William "Billy" of Whitelake Township, passed away December 10, 1989, at 64 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Jean Elizabeth Floer. Dear father and father-in-law of Ronald and Sue Floer, Donald and Colleen Floer and Bruce Floer. Dear grandfather of Candice Lee; Dear godfather of Lori Beck. Dear brother of Marge LaMothe, Charles Floer and Rose Davenport. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Billy served in World War II when he enlisted in the United States Navy on September 10, 1943. He was discharged on February 8, 1946. Billy was only 18 years old when he enlisted. At the time that he completed his Draft Card he was 18 and attending High School at Denby High. At that time he lived at 13351 Loretto in Detroit and he was living with his brother Lawrence Floer.

Billy lost both his parents at a young age; his mother Elizabeth passed away when he was only 4 and he was 13 when his father Charles passed away. Billy was the baby of the family so of course his older siblings took him in.

Even at a young age of 64 he died of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Elizabeth (Williams) Floer, his siblings Irene Elizabeth (Bine), David Clarence, Lawrence Harry, Andrew Reinhart, Elizabeth and Virginia Ann (Heitzenreder) Floer

He will always be loved, remembered but never forgotten.
