Janet Robertson Fielding 1950 - 1006

Obituary:

Janet Fielding, Age 55 of 418 Washington, Quincy, formerly of 300 Spruce, died Monday, in Sunset Home. She was born on July 16, 1950 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Charles E. and Wilma O. Mayfield Robertson. On September 29, 1968 she married Joe Fielding in Quincy. He survives.
Janet worked as a medication aide at a nursing home in Hebron, Nebraska. During the 1970's she volunteered at the Neighborhood Federation, she was especially involved with the Jefferson Community Center and the Harrison Hills Committee.
Survivors include two daughters: Jodi Fielding of Quincy, and Ronda Fuller and her husband, Doug of Republic, Kansas; a son, Joseph B. Fielding of Quincy; five grandchildren: Brady and Ashlee Fielding, and Miranda Motto, all of Quincy; and Kortney and Hemi Fuller both of Republic, KS; two brothers: Monty L. Robertson of Loami, IL; and Raymond Robertson of Quincy; and five sisters: Nancy S. Bruerer of Quincy; Polly Leckbee of Quincy; a twin sister, Joan Weber of Quincy; Mary Masterson, of AZ; and Sally Parkhill of Quincy; and 2 step-brothers, Pete and William 'Junior' McGraw. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Butch; and a sister, Sandy.Services will be Friday, June 9, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. George Tomko officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 8, 4-7 p.m.. Internment will be at a later date in New Providence Cemetery in Ursa. Memorials made in Janet's name to a charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated...
