This tomb prior to 2008 had only its gable, ornamented with a winged-hourglass, with two supports on a base, an open space with exposed bricks in between, and the inscription lost. We were able to recreate the slab with the inscription from a photograph supplied from Australian descendants who have also given us much family history. She is the mother of E82/ SELINA CHECCUCCI GARINEI and the grandmother of Elvira Garinei.
