Elizabeth Sophia Bergman, 91, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Sunday morning at Masternick Memorial Home Health Care in New Middletown, Ohio.

Born January 29, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Macek) Chuck.

A life- long area resident, she was a homemaker most of her life, but also enjoyed serving as a crossing guard for Columbiana Schools for ten years.

A former member of St. Jude Catholic Church, she was a devoted mother to her children Linda Aughinbaugh of Canfield, John E. Bergman of Salem, Perry Bergman of North Bend, OR, and Tracey R. Cook of Bessemer City, NC. She is also survived by her sisters Clara Snowberger and Virginia Pastore, both of Lisbon, a brother, Frank Chuck of Salem, and grandchildren, Amy Aughinbaugh, Ashley (Cook) Franklin, Anita Cook and great grandchildren Kira Jarvis, Kyle Jarvis, Landon Cook and great great grandchild Adisyn Jones.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Lynn Bergman, brothers Victor, Edward and Herbert Chuck and her sister Victoria Reynolds.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the Weber Funeral Home with the Rev. Christopher Cicero officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday at the Weber funeral home. Burial will be at Lisbon Cemetery
