EDWARD CHUCK

LISBON – Services will be held Monday for Edward L. Chuck, 60, of 623 Chestnut St., who died Thursday night at Northern Columbiana County Community Hospital in Salem.

A World War II Army veteran, Mr. Chuck was born in East Palestine Sept. 14, 1918, a son of John Chuck and Mary Macek Chuck.

He was retired as an industrial painter for the former Lisbon Spring and Wire Co.

He was a member of the SNPJ Lodge and the Rod and Gun Club of West Point and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4111 here.

In addition to his widow, Mrs. June R. Shield Chuck, whom he married Nov. 7, 1953, survivors include a twin son and daughter, Edward A. Church who is stationed with the Air Force in Arizona and Miss Betty Jo Chuck at home; another daughter, Mrs. Roland (Maxine) Ridgley of Lisbon; two brothers, Victor Chuck of West Point and Frank Chuck of Salem; four sisters, Mrs. Victoria Reynolds, Mrs. Clara Snowberger and Mrs. Virginia Pastore, all of Lisbon and Mrs. Elizabeth Bergman of Columbiana, and a granddaughter.

The rites will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. from the Henry Weber Funeral Home by Fr. William Hohman of St. George Catholic Church here. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
