Exie Hazel Ridley McElrath, passed away May 16th at Pisgah Manor Care facility following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. McElrath was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and America Ridley of Tamassee, S.C., husband Jack McElrath of Candler, son Jack Edward McElrath of Fairview, a sister, Altha Stewart of Candler, brother Cleo Ridley of Asheville and brother Dewey Ridley of Tamassee.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Goss and husband Jim of Asheville, 1 granddaughter Kathy Ballard and husband Terry of Asheville, grandson Steven Hendrix of Wilmington and grandson John McElrath of Stuart, Fl and one brother David Ridley of Cleveland, GA.
Mrs. McElrath was an avid reader and gardener.
Graveside services were held at Pisgah Memorial Park with the Rev. Terry Duckworth officiating.
