A devoted wife and mother, Nancy Carol Thomas (nee McCracken), 74, of Aldine, passed away on April 13, 2016. Born in Pedricktown, N.J., Nancy was the daughter of the late Dwight and Kathleen McCracken.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Charles "Newt" Thomas; children, Andrew (Heather) Thomas of Doylestown, Pa., Lori (Bill) Barbera of Mullica Hill, and Marla (Kevin) Wilson of St. Johns, Fla; grandchildren, Jon D'Amico, Sarah Chard, Alec Barbera, Morgan and Lauren Thomas and Dane Wilson; great-grandson, Bryce D'Amico, and two siblings, Jack McCracken of Monroeville and Jean Foster of Glassboro. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Betty Hiles and Paulette Hickman.
Over the years, Nancy worked for several local salons as a hairdresser, as well as operating her own beauty salon from her home. She enjoyed making quilts and crocheting for her family.
