Mrs. Hodge was born in Allendale County, January 27, 1922, a daughter of the late Owen and Ada Platts. Mrs. Hodge was a retired teacher assistant with Allendale Schools. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church where she was the treasurer for over 20 years. She was a member of the homemakers club, LCW Womens Club, and the Amelia district Lutheran Brotherhood.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Hodge of Fairfax, Cynthia Davis of St. Helena Island; two sisters, Caradelle Kennedy of Buckhead, Wilma Blakeneny of Fairfax. There are two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at St. Nicholas Lutheran Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
